Coding benchmarks · Staffed on demand
Senior engineers for coding benchmarks and agent evals.
Data annotation and search companies hire us when a benchmark needs real software engineers to write, solve and grade coding tasks. Not annotation contractors. Vetted, calibrated, in US hours, at about half the US cost.
Illustrative run. Team size and task type follow your brief.
The work
Engineers who can do the task, not just label it.
A coding benchmark is only as good as the people who write and grade it. Ours ship software for a living, so the tasks are realistic, the reference solutions pass their own tests, and the grades hold up to review.
Write and solve tasks
Repo-level tasks with a real codebase, a failing test and a reference fix. Scoped to the difficulty band you need.
Grade agent output
Pass or fail against your rubric with a written rationale, plus trajectory review: did the agent read the right files, run the tests, stop at the right time.
Build golden sets
Reference solutions, hidden tests and edge cases that make a task gradeable by a machine and defensible to a reviewer.
Red-team coding agents
Adversarial tasks, ambiguous specs and unsafe-change traps that expose where an agent cuts corners.
Calibrate the pod
Every grader is calibrated against your rubric before the first task, and we can monitor agreement across the pod so labels stay consistent.
Work in three languages
English, Spanish and Portuguese at a professional level, so multilingual benchmarks get graded by people who read the prompt natively.
How we vet
Roughly 1 in 40 make it through.
Benchmark work punishes weak engineers twice: bad tasks and bad grades. So every person clears the same four gates before you meet them.
- Live technical interview. A real conversation about real work, in the stack your benchmark targets.
- Role-specific take-home. About four hours. For benchmark roles it is a task-and-grade exercise, not a generic test.
- English fluency screen. Verified live, so rubric discussions and reviews run without friction.
- Reference checks. We talk to people they have actually shipped with.
How it works
Brief on Monday. First engineers by Friday.
One operator runs your search end to end. You talk to the person who built the team, not an account manager.
Day 1
Scope the benchmark
A 30-minute call. Task type, difficulty band, languages, rubric, team size and timezone. No charge, no obligation.
Days 2 to 4
Source and vet
Our operator network, not job boards. Four gates, plus a calibration round against your rubric.
Day 5
First engineers on your desk
Three to five people who fit the brief. You interview, we coordinate.
By day 21
Pod live, you manage the work
Contracts, payroll and compliance through Talent Management. Not a fit in 90 days? We replace at no cost.
In your hours
Same workday as your eval team.

What an engineer costs, here and there
Why Latin America
Senior, bilingual, two hours from New York.
- Depth. We have placed 500+ engineers with 200+ US companies. The senior pool is real and we already know who is in it.
- Overlap. Every hub sits within two hours of US Eastern, so grading disputes get resolved the same day.
- Languages. English, Spanish and Portuguese, which is the edge for multilingual coding benchmarks.
- Cost. About half of US rates for the same seniority. See the live comparison above.
Questions
What benchmark teams ask us first.
Are these annotation contractors or software engineers?
Software engineers. Every person we place passes a live technical interview and a role-specific take-home before you meet them. Annotation experience is a plus, engineering ability is the requirement.
How fast can a benchmark team start?
First engineers on your desk in five business days. Most teams are fully staffed within about three weeks of the first call.
Can you run payroll and compliance for the team?
Yes. Through Talent Management, our Contractor of Record service, we handle contracts, payroll and compliance across every LatAm country, so you manage the work and nothing else.
What languages do the engineers work in?
English, Spanish and Portuguese at a professional level, which matters for multilingual benchmarks. Programming languages follow your brief: Python, TypeScript, Go, Java, Rust and more.
